Background

Paul has been working in the graphics and art world and exhibiting paintings for all his working career.

Paul studied fine art in Manchester before taking up a career in graphic design and illustration. He has worked for a variety of clients in the UK, Europe and the USA, and since 1987 has been a partner in a graphic design company. 

From his teens he has exhibited regularly, initially alongside his parents in his home town of Manchester, as well as in galleries in Cheshire and the Lake District.

His works have been exhibited in one-man shows, joint shows and mixed exhibitions. 

He has been represented by various galleries at art fairs and he regularly displays at the Affordable Art Fairs in Battersea, Bristol and Amsterdam. Paul has been represented by The Dolby Gallery in Oundle, Woodbine Contemporary Arts in Uppingham and The Bedford Street Gallery in Woburn, Bedfordshire. 

His work is in collections in the UK and Ireland, including British Telecom headquarters in London and Pizza Express. 

Paul works from both sketches and photographs, often capturing images and editing them to create a framework for paintings or prints.
